Update Time

I have not done an update in about a million years. Well at least a month-ish. I feel like I have been just trying to survive this past month.

First of all Livie is almost 9 months old, and she just learned to clap and shake her head no. And I have tried to read books to her, which when Maddie has always loved to have me read to her since I about 6 months. So her not willing to sit and be read to is abit different. But she is does do something I like to watch her while I attempt a read. She take the pages and turns them then turns the book over then flips the pages back. Its seems to me that she is trying to figure the book out. Which I just laugh at. She loves her sister, and squeals whenever she sees her and smiles from ear to ear. Its way cute.

Maddie is learning her handwriting. She got a handwriting program from Snapper Grandma (my mom!) and we have had a few days off but we are plugging away. So she loves to do it! She is such a great sister. She sometimes has to be checked but most of the time she is very good with Livs. She can make Livs laugh at everything and anything. I really don't know how she does it, because I can't get her to laugh at me as much. She loves getting big. She is always talking about how she is big now and goes to primary. And sings all the songs that she learned in primary during the week, the first time she did it I got all teary because my baby is in primary now (I wonder what kindergarten will do to me). We just got her a booster seat and she tells everyone how big she is that she has a booster seat. She quotes movies all the time (mostly Disney or others like that but today we watch Madagascar 2 in the morning and at dinner and bath time she was quoting almost the whole thing.). She is a mini David! Speaking of David, the other day we were making a valentine's box for David's work and she told me, "Mom did you know that Dad is my best boy ever."

I have been giving them a bath together for a few weeks and they are hilarious together. The first time they drenched the whole bathroom, splashing. And the second day it was drenched again. But it gets bad once in awhile. But they just laugh and splash away. It is so cute!

David is plugging away with school and work and I really don't know how he does it all and still is alive today. I really appreciate what he does and feel like I don't do enough. But I know this is the last leg of school (well last year). And with all his load of work and school, he still finds time to have a little obsession playing mob wars on facebook (O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D!).

And to make my days go by better, my obsession, American Idol has started! Yeah! I am a uber-nerd with American Idol.

And that is a bit of an update! Happy Valentines to all! And here is a video of the first bath together (it is a bit shaky but I was trying not to get too wet!)

That movie is adorable! I love it! Beckett just dumps water on Belle's head and over the sides of the tub. I am glad that you guys are doing well. We have been sick lately, but we should get together sometime and have dinner. You can make your brazilian stuff and I will think of something cool that I can make that you can't.

Cute video. I was literally laughing out loud. I can't believe how big she is getting. Let me know if the hand writing thing is good for Maddie. Connor is so good with recognizing the letters but not too great at writing them out.
